Who we are

JINNIEverse at jinnieverse.com is a fan community operated by jinfantry. It is not affiliated with Jin, BTS or BIGHIT MUSIC. For privacy questions, contact jiniusph@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Account information includes your email address, account identifier and sign-in details. If you use Google, we receive the information needed to identify your account, such as your name, email address and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password.

We also store information you choose to add: your username, profile details and images, posts, comments, reactions, follows, testimonials, birthday wishes, messages and uploaded media. Features may save your game scores, streaming-challenge activity, checklists and saved items.

Our hosting and database providers process technical information such as connection details, IP addresses and error or security logs to deliver and protect the site.

How we use it

We use this information to sign you in, maintain your profile, deliver messages, display content to its intended audience, save your activity and preferences, and operate community features. We also use it to investigate reports, prevent abuse, fix problems and respond to support requests.

Google account information is used for sign-in and account features. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or contacts, and do not use Google account information for targeted advertising.

What other people can see

Your profile, posts, testimonials, wishes and community activity can be visible to other members according to the feature and your available settings. EATJIN Table is a shared member lounge, not a private conversation.

Direct-message text is limited in the interface to the conversation's participants. Site administrators can handle reported content and operate the service; messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Recipients can copy or share what you send.

Some uploaded media is stored at shareable file addresses. Anyone who obtains one of those addresses may be able to open the file even without signing in. Do not upload sensitive documents or anything you need to remain confidential.

Services that help run the site

Cloudflare provides hosting and delivery. Supabase provides authentication, database and file storage. Google handles Google sign-in if you choose it. Resend processes recipients' email addresses and message contents when delivering account confirmation and password-reset emails. These providers process information needed to supply their services and may process it outside your country.

Links, embedded players and social content from services such as Spotify, YouTube and Instagram may connect you to those services. Their own privacy policies apply to information they receive.

Browser storage

We use browser storage and, where required by sign-in services, cookies to maintain sessions, remember your era and display settings, save device-specific choices, and manage prompts and mascot preferences. Clearing browser data may sign you out or reset those choices. Third-party sign-in and embedded services may use their own storage.

Keeping and removing information

Information may remain while your account, content or a service feature needs it. There is no fixed automatic deletion period for every type of record. Removing an item in the interface may hide it rather than immediately erase every stored copy; backups and necessary security or abuse records may remain.

You can edit your profile and use the available content-removal, privacy, blocking and reporting controls. Contact jiniusph@gmail.com to request access, correction, account deletion or removal of associated information. We may need to verify that the account or content belongs to you and explain any information that must be retained. Revoking Google access does not by itself delete your JINNIEverse account or content.

Younger users and policy updates

Use the site only if you meet the age and permission requirements that apply where you live and to your sign-in method. If you believe a child has supplied information without the required permission, contact us so we can investigate.

We will update this page when our practices change and show the updated date. Material changes will also be brought to members' attention on the site.
